Not to be outdone, the BMW design department has once again come up with a creation which they claim a new approach towards automotive design. This new concept car is the BMW GINA Light Visionary Model which may be the most expensive car created by BMW. Geometry and Functions in “N” Adoptions or simply GINA by BMW is a concept which inherently delves into the creative instinct of the owners of future cars.
GINA features a conventional front mounted 8 cylinder engine with a rear drive platform and a surface boasting a new kind of fabric material which is highly resistant to expansion and is long lasting and flexible all at the same time. According to the highly qualified vehicle manufacturers, a light aluminum sub frame which is movable via electric and hydraulic controls will be used under the covering material enabling the car’s surface to be designed and reshaped as per the owner’s desire. Interestingly, the body of BMW GINA Light Visionary Model would consist of 4 components comprising of a front panel that would lead to the edge of the windscreen, 2 side panels on either side of the car and a rear deck panel.
The spectacular headlights of GINA are hidden under the car’s skin and come alive when switched on with the sub frame moving laterally to reveal them. GINA is indeed a car to look forward to.
